E-Poster Guidelines and Instructions

Thank you for presenting at the 14th Congress of the IFSO European Chapter 2026, taking place in Málaga, Spain, 6 – 8 May 2026.
This page provides all essential information to help you prepare for your presentation. Please check back regularly for updates regarding technical requirements, deadlines, and general instructions.

Who are these guidelines for?

• Presenting authors of abstracts selected for E-Poster Discussion
• Presenting authors of abstracts selected for E-Poster Viewing 

E-POSTER DISCUSSION

(Free Paper & Free Video Presenters)

Selected abstracts will be presented during dedicated E-Poster Discussion Sessions, held in the E-Poster area near the Exhibition Hall.

E-Poster Discussion Date & Time:

• • • Wednesday 6 May at  16:05 – 16:50
    • Thursday, 7 May at 13:05 – 14:25 and 18:05 – 19:00
    • Friday, 8 May at 13:05 – 14:25

Presentation Duration: 7 minutes per presentation

• • • 5-minute presentation/video

    • 2-minute Q&A

Presenter Instructions:

• • • Please arrive at the E-Poster area 10 minutes before the session begins.

    • Presenters are required to remain for the full duration of the session.

For Free Video Presenters:

• • • The video submitted during the abstract submission process will be presented during the session.

    • While the video is playing, the presenter should provide a brief description.

    • Each presentation includes:

      • 5-minute video

      • 2-minute Q&A

    • Presenters are required to upload an ePoster in PDF format (see instructions below)

E-POSTER VIEWING

E-Posters in this category do not have a scheduled presentation time.

They will be available via:

• • • The Congress mobile app

    • On-site E-Poster stations (near the Exhibition Hall) during exhibition opening hours

VIDEO E-POSTER VIEWING

• • • Submitted videos will be displayed on the E-Poster screens.

    • Presenters are required to upload an E-Poster in PDF format (see instructions below).

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

All E-Poster presenters must register and pay the applicable registration fee.

If you have not yet registered, please complete your registration and then inform us at:  IFSOEC_abstracts@kenes.com. Registration information is available here.

E-POSTER UPLOAD

Presenting authors will receive a dedicated upload link by email in due course.

The E-Poster upload system will open soon.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, 20 April 2026

E-Poster Preparation Guidelines

Please prepare your E-Poster according to the following technical specifications:

• File Format: PDF file – 1 page
• Orientation: Landscape Layout (16:9 ratio)
  • Create your poster in PowerPoint (Landscape 16:9) and save it as a PDF
• Font types: Arial, Calibri, Verdana Times New Roman or Helvetica
• Font size: > 11
• Hyperlinks, animated images, animations, and embedded videos are not permitted
• Images and tables: at least 200 dpi. Good picture quality is essential.
• When inserting images, photos, tables, etc., use copy-paste. Do not use embedded documents
• Avoid overlapping objects and layers. Only the final view/status will be visible
• When saving your PDF please do not use symbols or special characters (ie. +/@/ü) in the file name
• File size: Less than 5 MB
• If you wish, you may use a template that can be downloaded here.

Please note that you may NOT save the file name with any characters or symbols – only letters and numbers, and no spaces in the file name.
By following the guidelines, you will ensure your E-Poster is displayed correctly. If these instructions are not followed, your ePoster cannot be uploaded.
